Our club grew out of the need for helping others. We encourage our members to participate, on a voluntary basis, in our surrounding communities. We have been involved in supporting our Law Enforcement family by donating and delivering food and drinks to various departments around and in Nashville to show our appreciation for everything they do. Our members have donated and delivered items to the fire-ravaged cities in East Tennessee in their time of need. We have gathered to pick up trash and donated barrels to The Cove to help keep that area open to all of us who love to ride there. In times of inclement weather, members of J&W transported emergency personnel to and from hospitals and stations when there was no other way for these workers to get there in their own vehicles bc the roads were too treacherous. There are numerous charities that we are involved with and donate to.

As a club Jeeps and Wrenches host and participates in multiple charity events through out the year. In addition to the Ad hoc events J&W chooses and supports 2 local charities 1 veterans and 1 local charity. For 2018 The charities supported are as follows:

  • Veteran Charity - Operation Stand Down Tennessee

  • Local Charity  - Dreams and Wishes of Tennessee

Operation Stand Down Tennessee (OSDTN) is a registered 501(c)(3) that focuses on helping all Veterans and their families by engaging, equipping, and empowering them. They offer a wide range of services, including employment assistance, VA benefits assistance, networking, housing, and much more. If you are interested in donating, volunteering, or learning more check out thier website at www.osdtn.org.

Dreams and Wishes of Tennessee grants wishes to kids 5-31 that have relapsed from cancer. They also grant wishes to young adults 18-21 with a new cancer diagnosis. They serve the entire state of Tennessee and are the only organization in Tennessee that serves this population of children suffering from cancer.

Dreams and Wishes is approaching their 5th year of granting wishes. Since inception, over 60 wishes have been granted. Sadly, of those 60 smiles they were only able to be a part of granting, 38 of these kids have passed away.

If you would like more information on how you can sponsor a wish or become involved, check out their website at www.DreamsandWishesofTn.Org or their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/DreamsandwishesofTN.
