J&W works to educate members on the methodologies of Tread Lightly and to act as ambassadors of our sport. Along with being active members of Southern Four Wheel Drive Association, we encourage our members to always be good stewards of the land while enjoying good fellowship while operating our vehicles so we can preserve and protect the land for all generations to enjoy.

Once a year, J&W hosts an educational event for all surrounding clubs and groups to attend. Our goal is to introduce the sport to any new off-road enthusiast in a “non-intimidating, educational” setting. We have certain members teach classes on: Wheeling Basics, Tools of the Trail, Intro to CB radios, Winching Techniques, and Trail Etiquette. We spend the second half of the day on the trail practicing what we have learned. It is always a great time and gives new off-roaders the confidence in themselves and their rig to really come out in the future and enjoy the sport.
